Frequently Asked Questions

Acorn Paediatric Allied Health operates under a mobile business model, meaning we come to you! Initial Assessments will ideally be completed at the client’s home, giving our therapists the opportunity to meet with primary caregivers face to face and connect with clients within their primary environment first and foremost. Following the initial appointment, ongoing sessions can be at home, school or another agreed upon community environment. If ongoing appointments are not always at the client home, we strongly recommend a home visit at least once per school term (for example in the school holidays) for caregivers to have the opportunity to stay connected to interventions.
-
For caregivers wanting to book their child in for an initial assessment, we encourage you to complete our referral form. Our therapists will recieve your completed referral form once submitted and reach out to you via the phone number you put on the completed form.
For ongoing clients wanting to touch base with their OT we enocurage email (our OT’s monitor the admin@acornpaediatricalliedhealth.com email) or phone (you can contact directly via text or phone call on 0423653022).
For Feedback, Complaints or Disputes clients can provide feedback on our Contact Us page, or alternatively NDIS consumers can contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.
